Becamex Hotel New City

The location is great with restuarants now nearby..

The room could have used some more ligh

It is a very neat and modern looking building with nice staff. The rooms had suite size. The breakfast has been excellent !

The rooms are not very welcoming, but appear somewhat cold (white tiles and walls without decoration). The hotel is situated in an industrial settlement. For a business stay, it offers a suitable space to spend the night and still find places for dinner in the evening. The area is nothing for a leisure trip.

It’s clean and apartment was spacious

No disposable bathroom slippers

Breakfast in the tastes restaurant was outstanding, with vietnamese, japanese, chinese and western alternatives available. In fact all of the food we had in that restaurant was great and decent value for money (considering it was a hotel restaurant). The staff were helpful and the hotel was clean.

I stayed in one of the apartment rooms. While it was sizeable and reasonably well equipped, it did miss an iron and ironing table, which were definitely hard to get hold of in the hotel. Also, the maintenance of the hallways needed a bit of work, with spot-painting having resulted in a mosaic of paint in the corridors. Biggest issues for me were the comfort of the bed, which was pretty stiff, the ability to block out light in the bedroom, the curtains didn't quite reach the edges, and the fact that there really isn't much around the hotel within walking distance other than the conference centre. It's a great hotel when you are attending a function or a conference, but I would take a hotel in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City every time for the convenience of being able to walk around and do stuff.

Great hotel staff, good choice of food

Rooms were not comfortable

Good nightly rate for one bedroom apartment and very good buffet breakfast. The pool was very nice. We were there for a tennis tournament and the club was a 10min walk. Across the road there is a nice choice of restaurants and a food court. Highly recommend the Italian pizza and pasta restaurant. The area is very quiet, not a lot happening. Hardly any traffic on the roads!!

It’s an apartment with a decent kitchen, but there were no pots, pans or even cutlery. The couch was in a terrible condition and needs a clean or replacent, and the TV remote did not work very well. Floor tiles needs a re grout.

Good location for our needs. Staff very friendly. Excellent variety at breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Many restaurants have recently been added in the area, so there are many options for evening dining. Will stay again on my next trip.

I would like an ironing board and iron in the room for pressing clothes. However, there is laundry service available for a fee.

The location is pretty good, near many stores, restaurants and cafes

Pillows and mattresses are really bad for back and neck, causing discomfort and back pain

good appartement size with balcony

busy breakfast

The staff are amazing, everything is beautifully clean and the pool is gorgeous. Although breakfast menu is limited, coffee is very good.

I believe this hotel is new, but there are already some signs of peeling paint. The design of the apartment is weird - TINY bedroom. Also needs some more furniture - doesn't look inviting.
